The Netflix series premieres its sophomore season March 18.

Hell's Kitchen is about to become a war zone on Daredevil.

While the first season of Marvel's first Netflix drama pulled no punches when Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) found himself going up against the intense, terrifying villain Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio), season two is raising the amount of threats that will terrorize the city. The final trailer for season two reveals that Frank Castle, aka the Punisher (Jon Bernthal), and Elektra (Elodie Yung) aren't the only villains Matt will face. While he defeated the Yakuza in season one, it appears that they're back and stronger than ever in the new footage.

"I haven't told you everything," Stick (Scott Glenn) says to him in the trailer. "The city is ground zero in a war it doesn't even know is happening. And everything will change. This war is bigger than everyone."

But will Matt be able to take down all these threats by himself?

"This is a war I need to fight alone," Matt says. "My way."

The trailer also shows a bloodied Punisher in what appears to be a prison uniform, Elektra sleeping with someone, cops finding children trapped in dusty cages, Daredevil and Elektra working together to open a train car filled with what looks like dirt, Matt and Karen (Deborah Ann Woll) about to kiss in the rain, Elektra threatening to kill Matt if he gets in her way before kissing him passionately and a lot of high-stakes, high-intensity action scenes.

Daredevil was Netflix's first of five Marvel series, leading into Jessica Jones and the upcoming dramas Iron Fist and Luke Cage. All four heroes will then team up for the miniseries The Defenders, Netflix's and Marvel's Avengers-like series. The streaming service also is eyeing a potential The Punisher spinoff, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed earlier this year.

Daredevil season two begins streaming on March 18 on Netflix.
