Doing a double-take! Swedish woman Ellinor Hellborg is making waves on social media for bearing an uncanny resemblance to Adele, right down to her pronounced lips and carefully applied eyeliner.
The 22-year-old, who posted several Adele-inspired looks to her Instagram earlier this year, told the Daily Mail that she only really began to own her doppelgänger label after fans went crazy over her photos.

In the original black-and-white photo that started a major buzz online, Hellborg shows off long lashes, sharp eyeliner and a neutral expression on her face, with her hair worn down, loosely framing her face.

Hot Brits!
Jon Kopaloff/FilmMagic“Been hearing I look like adele, so i finally did an adele inspired look!” she captioned the stunning photo.
Just two weeks later, the makeup maven tried her hand at a Zooey Deschanel–inspired look that similarly nailed the New Girl star’s telltale features.
“Got an app that can change hair colour but I’m not patient enough to do it perfectly,” she explained in the caption. In the image, Hellborg sports heavy bangs, a tiny pucker and Deschanel’s trademark doe eyes.

In February, in light of all of the attention she was receiving for her posts, Hellborg posted a disclaimer of sorts.
“Important: I did an Adele-inspired look once and took some selfies of it. I do not strive to look like her, or anyone else. I do not claim to look like her, or anyone else,” she wrote. “I have my own face and I look like me. If you think I look like a certain person that’ fine, but arguing about who I do or do not look like is pointless. Telling me or other people in the comments I don’t look like Adele means nothing, because that is not who I am trying to be. I am my own person.”
