The network also ordered additional seasons of ‘Star vs. The Forces of Evil’ and ‘Two More Eggs.’
Disney XD is expanding their original series roster.
The network has greenlit two animated comedies, Billy Dilley's Super-Duper Subterranean Summer and Country Club.
Billy Dilley’s hails from Aaron Springer (SpongeBob SquarePants) and will premiere in 2017, while Country Club comes from comic book creators Chris and Shane Houghton (Harvey Beaks) are is slated to launch in 2018. Both are produced by Disney Television Animation (TVA).
The network has also picked up a third season of the Disney TVA's Star vs. The Forces of Evil from creator Daron Nefcy, along with a second season of the short-form comedy Two More Eggs from Mike and Matt Chapman (also known as The Brothers Chaps).
Billy Dilley’s follows eccentric science obsessed 7th grader Billy Dilley and his lab partners Zeke and Marsha as their summer break takes an unexpected turn and they find themselves stuck in a bizarre, magical world beneath the earth's surface. The voice cast includes Jessica McKenna (Fox’s upcoming sketch series Party Over Here) as Billy, Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants) as Zeke and YouTuber Catie Wayne (Animalist) as Marsha. Springer serves as executive producer.
Country Club centers on Cricket Green, a mischievous and optimistic country boy who moves to the big city with his family. Cricket's curiosity and enthusiasm leads his wildly out of place family on epic journeys and into the hearts of his new neighbors. Director Rob Renzetti (Gravity Falls) serves as executive producer and the Houghton brothers serve as co-executive producers.
