It helps to have friends in high places -- especially when it comes time to call in a big favor.

Ahead of her forthcoming Netflix comedy, comedian Maria Bamford has enlisted the help of a star-studded army including Judd Apatow, Sarah Silverman, Patton Oswalt, Tig Notaro and many more to help spread the word on her series, Lady Dynamite.

However, there's something for everyone as the actress also got her family, including her husband, mother and father, to also post about the comedy's May 20 launch.

From Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz,  Lady Dynamite is a single-camera half-hour comedy, is based on what Bamford has accepted to be "her life." The occasionally surreal episodes, inspired by multiple periods across the span of her life, tell the story of a woman who loses — and then finds — her shit.

A longtime stand-up, Bamford's acting credits include Louie, Arrested Development and Benched. However, she's probably better known as being Stephen Colbert's "favorite comedian on planet Earth."

If her eclectic and impressive group of fans is any indication, viewers will be a lot more familiar with her come May.
