The procedural propels CBS to an easy victory for the night.
A 13-year-old procedural so handily bested the rest of broadcast on Tuesday, it's kind of remarkable.
NCIS bested everything else on the Big Four last night with its slightly-improved 2.4 rating among adults 18-49. Its closest competitor was spinoff NCIS: New Orleans, which was off two-tenths of a point from the prior week with a 1.8 rating in the key demo before a steady Limitless (a season low 1.1 adults).
On the heels of its season-lifting Super Bowl telecast, CBS has also been enjoying a rather unique streak. The last two weeks have seen the network boast all 10 of the top 10 network broadcasts among live-plus-same day viewers. It's not a feat any other Big Four network has boasted in the era of delayed viewing.
NBC pulled No. 2 status for the night with an improved Hollywood Game Night (1.1 adults) and steady episodes of Chicago Med (1.5 adults) and Chicago Fire (1.6 adults).
The Flash pulled a 1.4 rating among adults 18-49 on the CW, helping the network best both Fox and ABC for the night — despite it being paired with the much softer iZombie (0.6 adults).
The entire Fox block — New Girl (1.2 adults), Grandfathered (0.8 adults), Brooklyn Nine-Nine (0.9 adults), The Grinder (0.6 adults) — was dead even with last Tuesday.
Also steady were ABC's Fresh Off the Boat (1.2 adults), The Muppets (0.8 adults) and Agent Carter (0.7 adults).
