Review's Andy Daly is taking his comedy to ABC.

The critically adored actor is set as the male lead in the Disney-owned network's comedy pilot Chunk and Bean, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

The single-camera comedy centers on the unlikely friendship of two misfits, Chunk and Bean, who benefit from having two very different sets of parents living next door to each other. Inspired by the lives of writers Ed Herro and Brian Donovan.

Daly will play Stuart Dawson, Chunk's dad and Connie's (Breaking Bad's Anna Gunn) husband. Like his wife, Stuart is also a therapist but is less of a controlling parent than Connie though he tends to go along with what Connie is doing.

For Daly, the role marks his latest broadcast TV role following episodes of Grandfathered, Black-ish and Modern Family.

The news comes a day after THR exclusively reported that Daily's beloved Comedy Central series Review would wrap its run with its upcoming third season.  Daly, repped by UTA and Principato Young, joins a cast that also includes Adam Rodriguez (Empire), who plays a neighbor and father to Bean.

Herro and Donovan will pen the script and exec produce alongside Dave Hemingson; Chris Koch will direct the pilot for ABC Studios.
