Teardrops on Tay's guitar. Following Taylor Swift's performance of "Out of the Woods" at the 2016 Grammy Awards on Monday, February 15, the pop superstar was captured by CBS' audience cameras wiping away a tear and being consoled by her seatmates, including BFF Selena Gomez.
The pop singer, 26, who glitter-bombed the audience in the final moments of her opening number, appeared visibly upset once she returned to her seat. The audience cam panned over to Swift complaining to Gomez and mouthing, "I missed that note."

In response, Gomez cozied up to her longtime BFF and sweetly rested her head on Swift's shoulder. The "Style" singer's 1989 producer, Max Martin, also leaned in from behind to encourage her.
Despite the brief mishap, Swift dominated the 2016 Grammys, taking home Album of the Year and delivering an impassioned acceptance speech to accompany her big moment.
"There are going to be people along the way who are going to try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame," Swift noted, evidently clapping back at Kanye West after he took credit for making her famous last Friday, February 12. "But if you just focus on the work and you don't let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you're going, you'll look around and you will know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there. And that will be greatest feeling in the world."
