He'll also reunite with Kevin Williamson for a third time and direct his ABC pilot 'Time After Time.'
Marcos Siega is staying put at Warner Bros. Television.
The prolific director/exec producer has signed a two-year overall deal with the studio, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.
Under the pact, Siega will create and develop new projects for the studio and continue to direct pilots. To the latter point, Siega will helm Kevin Williamson's ABC pilot, Time After Time.
The directing gig marks Siega's third collaboration with Williamson. He previously directed Williamson-produced pilots for Fox's The Following as well as The CW's The Vampire Diaries.
Time After Timeis based on Karl Alexander's 1979 novel and uses that as well as its subsequent movie as a starting point to chronicle the epic adventures of young H.G. Wells and his time machine. Williamson will pen the script and exec produce the WBTV drama alongside Siega.
Siega's credits also include the studio's breakout NBC drama Blindspot, serving as co-showrunner on the final season of The Following after Williamson shifted his focus to CBS' Stalker; ABC's Charlie's Angels reboot, Showtime's Dexter and more. He's repped by CAA and Stone Meyer.
