Katy Perry reveals in a new interview that Taylor Swift is invited to her pre-Grammys party in Los Angeles on February 13, which is somewhat surprising news considering the two have been engaged in a bitter feud for the past few years. Could it be that there’s no more “Bad Blood” between the former friends?

The Grammys are being held on Monday, but this Saturday, Perry is hosting a black-tie dinner for fellow musicians and artists, which she’s dubbing, “An Evening to Celebrate the Creators.” Perry explains to The New York Times that there are no managers, publicists, agents or other executive types invited to the bash, but the guest list of 250 people only includes “creators,” which extends to “producers and songwriters.”

One of those “creators” who made the guest list is Swift, but she’s yet to officially R.S.V.P. because, as Perry explains, “It’s just up to [her] schedule.” It isn’t clear if Perry is extending an olive branch to Swift based on Swift’s revived feud with Kanye West, but the timing is suspicious. As Gossip Cop reported on Thursday, West debuted his new song “Famous,” in which he says, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex. Why? I made that bitch famous.”

West later claimed that Swift gave him permission to use the lyric, and that she even found it “funny,” but the singer’s rep denied the rapper’s story, telling Gossip Cop that Swift conveyed to West her disapproval of the song’s “misogynistic message.” Perry has been a staunch supporter of female empowerment throughout her career, and so it’s very plausible the “Firework” singer has decided to squash her beef with Swift for the greater good of supporting another woman in the music industry, regardless of their “Bad Blood.”
