'What Goes Around Comes Around' is CBS' seventh pilot order of the season.

The Year of the Family Comedy continues to get bigger.

CBS has handed out a pilot pickup to comedy What Goes Around Comes Around, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

From Galavant and Malcolm in the Middle alum Dan Kopelman, the comedy centers on two 40-something parents who were wild and reckless teenagers now face their worst nightmare — raising three teenagers of their own.

Kopelman will pen the script and exec produce the Warner Bros. Television comedy alongside Kapital Entertainment's Aaron Kaplan.

The pilot marks the first Warner Bros. Television comedy of the season to score a pickup at CBS and expands the network's relationship with the studio behind Big Bang Theory, Mom and the outgoing Mike & Molly.

What Goes Around also marks CBS' first single-camera comedy pilot order of the season as the network, under new topper Glenn Geller, has been putting its focus on multicamera fare. The comedy is the network's seventh comedy pilot pickup and joins multicamera fare The Great Indoors, The Kicker, Superior Donuts and the untitled Kevin James straight-to-series entry. The network also has hybrid comedies from Dan O'Shannon (currently untitled) and Hilary Winston (My Time/Your Time).

Family comedy is the biggest trend so far of Pilot Season 2016 with multiple projects set up at NBC, Fox, ABC and CBS.

For Kaplan, meanwhile, What Goes Around Comes Around is his third pilot order of the season and joins ABC's Second Fattest Housewife in Westport and Fox's pilot presentation Botcop.
