Justin Bieber was NOT “drinking alone at a gay bar,” despite an false report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this story. We’re told it’s “not accurate.”
According to TMZ, Bieber and his bodyguard went on on Saturday night to Club Cobra in North Hollywood, where the singer sat down at the bar, ordered a single beer, and left after around an hour. The site also claims he was the only patron in the entire establishment.
Right off the bat, the website is wrong about Bieber being “alone” and the only person at the bar since it was already established he was accompanied by his bodyguard. Regardless, Gossip Cop is told by a source close to the singer that he he was at the bar celebrating a birthday party for two friends. Simply put, Bieber was among a group of pals, and TMZ’s story is both not true and just an attempt by the webloid to sensationalize the events of the evening.
Additionally, despite the site’s claim, Bieber was well aware that Club Cobra is a gay bar, but he was there for a friend’s birthday celebration, not on a whim. While there would be nothing wrong if Bieber had, in fact, been alone at a gay bar, Gossip Cop deals in facts, not sensationalism. And the fact is Bieber wasn’t drinking by himself in an empty bar.
