Miranda Lambert has NOT ordered an assistant to rip out any stories about Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani before reading a magazine, despite an absurd tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct this story. We’re told it’s “ridiculous.”
According to the National Enquirer, Lambert is infuriated by seeing all of the photos and articles about her ex-husband’s new romance with Stefani, and she’s now found a way to avoid them. A so-called “source” tells the supermarket tabloid in very unnatural language, “Unable to stand hearing of the ‘happy couple,’ she’s ordered an aide to intercept all her mags and newspapers and slash every last Blake/Gwen story or photo!” The tabloid’s seemingly phony source adds, “She never, ever wants to lay eyes on those lovebirds again.”
Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to Lambert, who laughed off the tabloid’s rumor before exclusively telling us it was completely “ridiculous.” But, of course, Gossip Cop isn’t surprised by the magazine’s bogus story. The Enquirer is the same outlet Gossip Cop has repeatedly corrected for wrongly claiming Shelton and Stefani are engaged, and that Lambert was planning to adopt a baby. Just last week, we also busted the publication for inaccurately alleging that Stefani was making the country superstar sign a $185 million “cheating” prenup. Much like those tall tales, the tabloid’s latest report is also simply false.
