Gwen Stefani Did NOT “Cancel” Non-Existent Blake Shelton Wedding, Despite Report (EXCLUSIVE)

Gwen Stefani Cancel Wedding Blake Shelton

(In Touch)

Gwen Stefani did NOT “cancel” her wedding to Blake Shelton, despite a new tabloid cover story. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust the claim. There was never any wedding to cancel in the first place.

In early December, In Touch alleged Stefani and Shelton were planning to elope. Gossip Cop correctly debunked the cover story at the time. Now the magazine is backtracking with a new cover that conveniently claims the non-existent wedding is off.

In a so-called “Blake & Gwen shocker,” it’s alleged that Stefani “blindsided” Shelton by telling him she’s “not ready to get married” and has actually gone from “no doubt to plenty of doubt.” The outlet writes, “After an intense whirlwind romance that left them both eager to marry in the wake of their devastating summer splits from Miranda Lambert and Gavin Rossdale, Gwen has now put the brakes on plans to walk down the aisle as soon as her divorce is finalized. Gavin is guilt-tripping her over their boys, she’s feeling pressure from friends and she has her own fears and insecurities.”

“She’s canceled the wedding,” a supposed “friend” alleges to In Touch. “Everything between Gwen and Blake has moved so quickly. They got swept away with the honeymoon period and wanting marriage and babies as soon as possible. She now thinks they’re moving a bit too fast given that they’ve both endured major breakups just a matter of months ago.”

While it’s said Stefani is “still hopelessly in love with Blake,” the supposed tipster claims “she’s been stressing because Blake wants to announce that they’re planning a wedding and having a baby. That was the final straw. She broke down.” Indeed, the tabloid claims they had the “fight that changed everything.” The alleged tipster says of Shelton, “He wasn’t happy about it and has vowed to change her mind. He desperately wants to marry her!”

Right. What actually strikes Gossip Cop most curiously is that despite the vague references to “having a baby,” the report makes no specific mention of the baby girl In Touch announced Stefani was actually expecting just last week. And that’s because there wasn’t ever any baby on the way, just like there wasn’t any wedding. A rep for Shelton exclusively tells Gossip Cop, “There’s never been a planned wedding to cancel.” And Stefani’s rep sums up the cover story to us in just one word: “Untrue.”
