Rob Lowe's brother, Chad Lowe, will direct an upcoming episode of the Fox comedy.

Rob Lowe is making The Grinder a family affair.

The Fox comedy, in which Lowe and Fred Savage star as brothers, will see Lowe bring abroad his real-life brother, Chad Lowe. The Pretty Little Liar star will direct an upcoming episode of the series.

Titled “Delusions Of Grinder,’ the installment will explore what happens when Stewart (Savage) becomes certain that there is a larger conspiracy against the firm and sets out to prove it. It’s the only time Sanderson & Yao has ever been involved in a truly dramatic situation, and unfortunately Dean (Lowe) has shed his “Grinder” persona and refuses to listen to what he believes is simply Stewart’s paranoia. Instead, under the influence of Maya Rudolph’s character, Dean focuses on being the office intern.

For his part, Chad Lowe has directed several episodes of television, and frequently does so on Pretty Little Liars and Bones. And though he won’t appear onscreen, the Fox comedy does have an impressive list of guest actors who have made an appearance, including Rudolph, Jason Alexander, Timothy Olyphant, Christina Applegate and Nathan Fielder.

Production kicked off on the episode on the Fox lot yesterday. The Grinder airs Tuesday nights
