Charlie Sheen swears he’s currently clean and sober, revealing that he hasn’t done drugs in four months and hasn’t drank alcohol in four weeks.
As Gossip Cop reported earlier, Sheen discussed having HIV in a new interview with RadarOnline. In part two of his discussion with the site, Sheen opens up about his past substance abuse issues. “I’m not drinking, and I haven’t done drugs for a very long time, and I’m having a ball,” says the actor. When the interviewer points out that Sheen told Matt Lauer he was still drinking as of last month, the former “Two And A Half Men” star responds, “I quit on the flight home. How about that?”
As far as regrets, Sheen admits there are a few things he would go back and do differently if given the chance. “I would have never started smoking,” says the actor. “Because it’s one of the worst things for you and the hardest things to quit.” Another thing Sheen would have done without are his tattoos, because “they’re hard to get rid of,” he says. And finally, Sheen notes if he could turn back time, he “never would have done cocaine,” which he calls “a losing proposition.”
