Scott Disick is not looking to star in an upcoming Selena Gomez video, despite a wholly fabricated report by an unreliable webloid. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust the claim. We’re told the childish story is “stupid” and a lie.
According to HollywoodLife, Disick is seeking the “ultimate revenge” on Justin Bieber for hooking up with Kourtney Kardashian, and is looking to star in one of Gomez’s music videos. The webloid, which has repeatedly been caught violating journalistic ethics by making up stories, absurdly alleges that Disick would like Gomez to “join forces and stick it to their respective exes… for all the pain their hookups have caused.”
One of the webloid’s sources, who’s either non-existent or in the process of selling HollywoodLife the Brooklyn Bridge, says Disick will be using his music connections “to holler at Selena because he wants to be in her next music video!” The same entirely phony “source” is quoted as saying Disick’s dastardly plan would get Kardashian to “stop robbing the cradle,” while at the same time he makes money from starring in the video.
Of course, the HollywoodLies story is lacking a few things, including the truth, facts, and reality. But the biggest thing the creative writers at the webloid, which has a mostly female audience, forgot when they manufactured this insanity is Selena Gomez, and her own independent, free-will as a strong woman.
First off, Gossip Cop can exclusively report that Disick is not angling to be in one of Gomez’s videos. But more importantly, Gossip Cop has been assured this would never be of interest to Gomez. Sources close to Disick and Gomez respectively tell Gossip Cop this latest tale from the untrustworthy site is “so stupid” and “just more lies.”
It is precisely because of made-up stories like this that Gomez told her fans, “Hollywood life is never true. Ever.” The singer also recently said in an interview, “HollywoodLife is the worst.”
