Robert Pattinson’s friends are not pushing him to “get back with Kristen Stewart,” despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this story. We’re told there’s “no truth” to it, and that the claim is “wrong.”
According to the generally reliable International Business Times, Pattinson told his pals he still has feelings for his ex-girlfriend, and they supposedly agreed she’s a better fit for him than FKA Twigs. A so-called “source” tells the site that Pattinson “misses the wild life he had with Kristen.”
The report further claims that after Pattinson supposedly “confessed to his friends that he misses Kristen,” his buddies “pushed him to reconcile” with her. Pattinson’s friends flat out “don’t want him to marry FKA Twigs,” adds the outlet, citing a number of different webloid stories and unsubstantiated allegations.
Gossip Cop has spent a lot of time trying to verify a number of the story’s claims, including Pattinson telling friends he “misses” Stewart and that his pals have “pushed him to reconcile” with her. But none of this is true. Pattinson has moved on from his relationship with Stewart, and has a new life with his fiancee FKA Twigs. He is not looking to cancel his wedding to FKA Twigs in order to “get back” with Stewart, nor is she looking to get reunite with him.
Not one of our many sources could verify the allegations by the outlet. Most insiders simply expressed disbelief that there was actually a report claiming Pattinson’s pals were pushing for him to dump FKA Twigs and reconcile with Stewart. Among the responses we received from insiders was that there was “no truth” to it, and the implication that Pattinson’s friends were angling for him to get back together with Stewart was “wrong.”
