The force is stronger than ever with Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which is expected to open to $255 million this weekend and break several all-time box office records in the process.

At $255 million, Star Wars: The Force Awakens would have the largest box office opening of all time, beating this summer’s Jurassic World. With Thursday night showings, the highly-anticipated movie outgrossed record-holder Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows — Part Two, and then did so again on Friday, toppling the record for the highest opening day with $120 million. Jurassic World grossed a total $652.3 million earlier this year to be the biggest film of 2015, but the Star Wars: The Force Awakens has just days left in the year to try to beat that.

Of course, with Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ humongous debut, the grosses for the rest of the Top 10 look pathetically puny in comparison. Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Road Chip is likely to finish in second place with $14.2 million. Tina Fey and Amy Poehler’s new comedy Sisters will have to settle for third at $14 million.

Ticket sales of $5.5 million would put former chart-topper The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2 in the number four spot. With $4.9 million, Creed could follow to take fifth. Landing sixth may be The Good Dinosaur if it rakes in $4.2 million.

Potentially rounding out the Top 10 are Krampus ($4 million), In The Heart Of The Sea ($3.6 million), Dilwale ($1.8 million), and Spectre ($1.5 million). All figures are currently estimates, and Gossip Cop will have updates. TELL US: Are you seeing Star Wars: The Force Awakens this weekend?
