O.J. Simpson tried to kill himself in Kim Kardashian’s childhood bedroom in 1994, and now the shocking real-life moment has been dramatized for the upcoming series, “American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson.” See the new promo trailer below!
The upcoming FX show centers around Simpson’s trial for the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend Ron Goldman. Cuba Gooding Jr. stars as the title character, while David Schwimmer portrays Robert Kardashian, who served as one of Simpson’s lawyers and was, of course, Kim’s late father.
The promo features the Kardashian patriarch discovering a gun-wielding Simpson crying on the floor of Kim’s room shortly before his infamous white Bronco chase. “Do not kill yourself in Kimmy’s bedroom!” screams the lawyer. For you eagle-eyed viewers, look out for the poster of ’90s teen heartthrob Joey Lawrence that decorates Kim’s wall.
The all-star cast of the highly-anticipated series also includes John Travolta as Robert Shapiro, Sarah Paulson as Marcia Clark, Courtney B. Vance as Johnnie Cochran, Nathan Lane as F. Lee Bailey, Connie Britton as Faye Resnick, and Selma Blair as Kris Jenner.
