Justin Bieber performed “Sorry” on “The Voice” season finale on Tuesday. Watch below!

Bieber was one of a number top acts to take part in the final episode of season 9. Tori Kelly, with whom he shares a manager, also participated, as did Coldplay, Sam Hunt, and The Weeknd. Bieber teased his performance earlier in the day, tweeting, “Performing on the #VoiceFinale tonight. #BieberOnTheVoice.” When the time came with just minutes left in the two-hour broadcast, the singer began by performing the song on the piano, stripping it down to show off his melodic voice, before kicking the track into its usual high gear.

The superstar is actually no stranger to the NBC music competition. As Gossip Cop reported at the time, Bieber also performed on the season 2 “Voice” finale in 2012, marking the first time he sang “Boyfriend” live. He also played a role this season, with contestant Mark Hood memorably singing “What Do You Man?” during the live playoffs in November.

Like that track, “Sorry” is also off Bieber’s number one album, Purpose. The song serves as the record’s second single, and has peaked at number two on both the Billboard Hot 100 chart and the Mainstream Top 40 chart. Bieber has been performing “Sorry” at a number of appearances, including at the American Music Awards and on “The Tonight Show,” “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” and the “Today” show.

He also hilariously sang a snippet of the song during his second “Carpool Karaoke” session with James Corden for the “Late Late Show” last month. How does this new performance compare? Stay tuned for the video!
