Jeffery Austin proved why viewers saved him when he competed on “The Voice” finale on Monday. Watch below!

Austin has had one of the most unbelievable “Voice” journeys of season 9. For his blind audition, only Gwen Stefani turned around. That ended up being a mistake on the other coaches’ parts, as Austin proved to be one of the season’s top artists.

He was nearly eliminated last week, however, when he failed to get enough votes to automatically make it into the Top 4. He went on to win the Instant Save, though, and now he’s Stefani’s first-ever artist to make it into a finale. And his three performances for the finals showed why he deserved to be there.

Austin started with a chill-inducing take on “O Holy Night.” Adam Levine praised the contestant’s “unique” take, and noted how the “sweet spot” of his voice can make the rafters shake. Stefani, meanwhile, seemed near tears, and confessed, “Obviously, I’m going to be really emotional tonight.”

Austin then sang the Sugarland track “Stay.” The passionate performance led Blake Shelton to declare afterward, “Man, I like you doing country!” He went on to acknowledge how the singer “snuck up on all of us,” and said they become “believers” more and more each time.

For his final performance, Austin and Stefani did a duet of Stevie Nicks and Don Henley’s “Leather and Lace.” Check out all the performances below! TELL US: Do you think Austin has a good chance of being named “The Voice” winner on Tuesday?
