Justin Bieber and paparazzo Walter Damon Lee have settled a lawsuit stemming from an alleged hit and run.

As Gossip Cop reported, Bieber allegedly hit Lee with his car as he left the Laugh Factory on the Sunset Strip on June 18, 2013. At the time, the photographer claimed he suffered multiple injuries, including lacerations, hematomas, deep venous thrombosis and abrasions. The incident was investigated by police, but the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office declined to file charges, believing the accident was minor and that the singer was likely unaware of the impact when he was leaving the scene.

In June of 2014, however, about a year after the incident, Lee filed a civil suit against Bieber. Now more than a year after the superstar was sued, he and the plaintiff have agreed to settle the case out of court. Details of the settlement are being kept confidential.

The news comes just a few days after Bieber was pulled over for a traffic infraction. As Gossip Cop reported, on Friday he was stopped after leaving The Grove shopping center in Los Angeles for making an illegal left turn. In both cases, he was behind the wheel of a Ferrari.
