Ronda Rousey is a woman of her word.
The UFC superstar made one admirer's dream come true on Friday night, when she kept her promise to accompany him to the Marine Corps Ball in Myrtle Beach, S.C.
Ronda shared a peek at the festivities on Saturday morning, along with a sweet message.
"Thank you Lance Cpl. Jarrod Haschert for taking me to the Marine Corps Ball, being such a gentleman, and putting a smile on my face again," she wrote, captioning an Instagram photo of herself next to her beaming date.
Jarrod made headlines in August when he posted a now-viral Facebook video inviting his "celebrity crush" to the military formal.
"I love everything you do and I think you are a phenomenal person," he told Ronda in the clip, adding that it would be his "honor" to have her by his side at the annual fete.
The occasion may have been a breath of fresh air for Ronda, who has been recovering from her shocking loss to fellow bantamweight fighter Holly Holm in November.
Despite feeling "embarrassed" about her performance in the match, the 28-year-old told ESPN the Magazine she's determined to seek redemption.
"I need to come back," Ronda said. "I need to beat this chick. Who knows if I'm going to pop my teeth out or break my jaw or rip my lip open, I have to f***ing do it.”
