The ABC block sees across-the-board growth as the trio of dramas head into winter hiatus.
All three of ABC's Shonda Rhimes-produced dramas went out on a high note Thursday night.
Grey's Anatomy, Scandal and How to Get Away With Murder, each of which is now heading into a winter hiatus, saw ratings climb with their respective fall finales. Grey's Anatomy lead the trio, up three tenths of a point from the previous week, with an average 2.5 rating among adults 18-49. Scandal followed, up two-tenths of a point, with a 2.4 rating in the key demo.
Seeing the biggest growth of all, How to Get Away With Murder rose four-tenths of a point at 10 o'clock for an average 2.3 rating with adults 18-49. Murder will have the most brief return in 2016, with ABC again keeping it at just 15 episodes.
The CBS block was again likely skewed by NFL preemptions. After a steady Big Bang Theory (3.8 adults), Life in Pieces (2.0 adults), Mom (1.8 adults), 2 Broke Girls (1.9 adults) and Elementary (1.0 adults) were all goosed from last week's episodes — all of which had seen significant downward adjustments in final returns.
NBC saw zero movement for its three dramas. Heroes Reborn (1.1 adults), The Blacklist (1.5 adults) and The Player (0.8 adults) were all in line with last Thursday's episodes.
Both Bones (1.0 adults) and Sleepy Hollow (0.8 adults) held on Fox — and, over on the CW, The Vampire Diaries (0.5 adults) and The Originals (0.4 adults) were also steady.
