Justin Bieber showed off his skateboarding skills during a pretaped segment for the “Today” show in advance of his live performance on Wednesday’s broadcast. Watch the video below!
“Today” anchor Tamron Hall met up with Bieber at an indoor skate park in New York, where he was hanging out with a group of young fans. During the interview, the pop stars showed off some tricks and even gave Hall a skateboarding lesson.
Bieber said he loves for skateboarding, and has been doing it for four years. “It’s fun for me to just get out there, and not really think about much, and just get on my skateboard,” he explained. Bieber also noted he thinks “it’s awesome” to get to skate with fans.
As for his new record, Purpose, “The most exciting thing about this album is being able to work with such awesome people,” Bieber said. Some of artists who collaborated with Bieber on the album include Skrillex, Ed Sheeran, Big Sean, Travis Scott and Halsey.
On Wednesday, Bieber will perform live from Rockefeller Plaza as part of the “Today” show’s concert series. “I hear it’s gonna be big,” he said about the upcoming performance. “I hear it’s gonna be huge.” Watch Bieber skateboard in his latest “Today” show interview, and tell Gossip Cop what you think.
