Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess were joined by Peta Murgatroyd for a perfect salsa trio on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.” Watch the video below.
Earlier in the evening, Carter’s tango to Alesso’s “Scars” had a number of flaws and each and every judge urged him to shrug it off and “come back” with a big performance later in the show, and he did in a big way. Carter, who himself said “the show must go on,” flawlessly danced a salsa to the “Empire” cast and Pitbull’s “No Doubt About It” that won over the judges and audience alike.
Julianne Hough felt it was Carter’s best dance to date. Bruno Tonioli praised Carter for throwing everything into it, including incorporating moves by Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake. “That’s how you come back with a huge massive hit,” he exclaimed. And Carrie Ann Inaba admitted, “I was worried about you, but you came back… This was the most solid you have ever been on your feet.” She added, “The Backstreet boy is back!
