Justin Bieber did not snub Charlie Sheen before his “Today” show interview and ask for a dressing room “as far away” as possible from him, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively correct the story. We’re told the claim is entirely untrue.

According to RadarOnline, Bieber has done “everything in his power to avoid Charlie Sheen when the two appear on Tuesday’s ‘Today’ show.” The site even quotes a so-called “show insider” as saying, “Justin’s team has requested the dressing room away from Charlie,” adding, “They want to make sure he’s as far away from Charlie as possible.” “Justin wants nothing to do with Charlie,” says the outlet’s supposed “source.”

But none of the story is true. Bieber never asked to have a dressing room at 30 Rockefeller Plaza far away from Sheen because, as the singer’s own rep exclusively tells Gossip Cop, “Justin won’t even be there [on Tuesday]” when Sheen reveals he’s HIV positive. Bieber’s rep further notes that his interview with the “Today” show was already pretaped.

As Gossip Cop previously reported, Sheen will sit down with Matt Lauer and discuss having HIV, how he currently feels and his prognosis. Gossip Cop also exclusively reported the reason Bieber did not appear on Monday’s “Today” show, as he was slated to do, was that he and the program’s producers both mutually agreed that in light of the Paris attacks and its coverage, his interview at the time would “be in poor taste.”
