The resulting tune, "Daddy's Little Girl," takes some tough digs at the youngest Lyon son.

The war between Empire and Lyon Dynasty is heating up, and it's Lucious who's firing the latest shots.

In Wednesday's episode, titled "My Bad Parts," Lucious (Terrence Howard) is eager to assert his power and releases a rap by Freda (Bre-Z) in which she challenges Hakeem (Bryshere Y. Gray) as his heir.

The resulting song, "Daddy's Little Girl," doesn't beat around the bush. The track, exclusive to The Hollywood Reporter, boasts aggressive lyrics like, "daddy's little son acting like a dud," and "you ain't as good as your brother."

Considering his notorious temper and his rollercoaster relationship with his dad, it seems safe to assume it won't take long for Hakeem to hit Freda and Lucious back with a response.

Check out a listen to the song below. Empire airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. on Fox. The season two, volume one soundtrack hits stores Nov. 20.
