Ronda Rousey may have gotten knocked down, but she's definitely planning to get back up.
The MMA superstar experienced her first career loss over the weekend, after opponent Holly Holm delivered a knockout kick to her head during the second round of UFC 193 in Melbourne.
Despite the upset, Ronda issued a statement about her condition on Sunday and assured fans she'll be ready to reenter the Octagon after getting some deserved rest.
"I just wanted to thank everyone for the love and support," she wrote on Instagram. "I appreciate the concerns about my health, but I'm fine. As I had mentioned before, I'm going to take a little bit of time, but I'll be back."
Ronda’s defeat stripped her of the UFC Women's Bantamweight title and ended her 12-fight winning streak. Many viewers, including a number of celebrities, considered it one of the most shocking moments in UFC history and shared their surprise on social media.

The former champ seemed to predict the outcome herself during an appearance on "The Tonight Show" in October.
"She's undefeated and an amazing athlete. The biggest threat to me," Ronda told host Jimmy Fallon of Holly, calling the 34-year-old "the type of fighter you have to be very, very patient with."
"She's the type of athlete that's going to keep distance … and get me frustrated to the point where I'll make a mistake and she'll try to kick me in the head," Ronda said.
