"It does your job and hangs out with your friends, so you can focus on what's really important: going on Facebook."
Jimmy Kimmel humorously supposed that Facebook's Photo Magic is a slippery slope.
The late-night host joked on Thursday night that the new feature — which automatically recognizes friends' faces so a user can send photos to them before you’ve even uploaded the photo to the site — might lead to another automated "magical" feature.
"I love that whenever Facebook introduces a new thing, they have to convince us it's not creepy," he said while introducing a bit for "Magic You," or "an advanced algorithm that studies your old posts to create new statuses for you automatically."
Such updates include "political opinions you didn't even know you had," "a healthy, loving, very public relationship" and "a perfect clone," all agreed upon signing agreements that are often left unread.
"It does your job and hangs out with your friends, so you can focus on what's really important: going on Facebook," the bit concluded.
