One Direction had its first-ever BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge concert on Thursday. Check out the videos below!

Considering the band’s monumental success over the last five years, it’s kind of surprising they hadn’t yet had the honor of performing in the exclusive concert space. But the show now was timed to Friday’s release of the group’s fifth album, Made In The A.M. To celebrate the occasion, the guys perform six songs, including two very special covers.

The set began with “Drag Me Down,” the first single from the album, followed by “Perfect,” the current second single. They then threw it back to the last album with “Story Of The Year.” Then it was time for the first cover of the session.

The group surprisingly chose to perform “FourFiveSeconds,” the collaboration between Rihanna, Kanye West, and Paul McCartney that was released earlier this year. Niall Horan explained, “It’s a good song, and a big song this year, and we wanted to do our little version of it.” They even had a strings section to accompany them.

After that came “Infinity,” a promotional single from Made In The A.M. And then came the second and final cover, which was a huge treat for longtime Directioners. “If you were watching ‘The X Factor’ five years ago, we performed it together for the first time,” teased Horan. “This is the first time since ‘The X Factor.’ This is ‘Torn’ for all our fans out there.”

Prior to the show, One Direction participated in a brief interview, and Harry Styles hilariously used a computer voice to communicate because he was on vocal rest before the concert. As a computer spoke all of his answers, host Greg James amusingly clarified, “This is not being filmed. It could be anyone doing that. But I just want to confirm it’s Harry Styles typing answers to the questions.”

The festivities ended with James presenting the guys with their BBC Radio Teen Award for Best British Group. Gossip Cop will have the performance videos shortly. Check out the clips below!
