Sawyer Fredericks returned to “The Voice” on Wednesday, less than a year after winning season 8, to perform his new single “Take It All.” Check out the video below!
Fredericks, of course, was the frontrunner earlier this year when he competed on Team Pharrell. The long-haired teen wowed again and again with emotionally-intense performances that defied his young age. In May, he became the youngest winner in the history of the NBC music competition.
On Tuesday’s episode of “The Voice,” Fredericks stopped by for a quick chat with host Carson Daly, revealing his highly-anticipated self-titled debut EP would be released on Wednesday. The set consists of four songs: “Lovers Still Alone,” “Still Here,” “Stranger,” and “Take It All.”
For his return to “The Voice” stage on Wednesday, Fredericks gave his debut performance of “Take It All.” The song is his first single after his “Voice” song “Please,” which was released in conjunction with last season’s finale. Reflecting on Fredericks’ journey, Pharrell said he was “so proud” of his artist, and encouraged everyone “to go get that EP.”
There was also an amusing segment with Blake Shelton teaching Fredericks how to drive. Watch both videos below!
