"I cannot wait to hear these words spoken for the very first time by this incredible cast."

It's going to be hot.

The Black List will present a live read of Ben Schwartz's El Fuego Caliente on Nov. 21 with a cast that includes Jane the Virgin's Jaime Camil and Anthony Mendez, Devious Maids' Roselyn Sanchez and Judy Reyes, Brooklyn Nine-Nine's Stephanie Beatriz and Scream Queens' Diego Boneta.

Schwartz will also appear as a character from his 2011 script, described as a "hilarious remake of Soapdish" all revolving around Telenovela icon Penelope, played by Sanchez, who chases her dreams of Hollywood stardom, which are almost foiled by a jealous co-star and scheming producer, according to The Black List.

"We're incredibly excited to be doing what everyone in Hollywood should be doing: presenting exceptional entertainment that's representative of the highly diverse American and international audience,” Black List founder Franklin Leonard said in a statement. “El Fuego Caliente is hilarious. Ben Schwartz is hilarious. Our cast is hilarious. Simply put, it's going to be a great night."

The show will play at the Montalban Theater in Hollywood.

Schwartz said he was honored to have his script chosen.

"I cannot wait to hear these words spoken for the very first time by this incredible cast," Schwartz said in a statement.
