Barrett Baber closed “The Voice” Live Playoffs on Tuesday with the most emotional performance of the night. Watch below!

As Gossip Cop reported, Baber had all four coaches fighting over him after his Blind Audition. He then had an intense Battle face-off that led his opponent to get stolen. He sailed through the Knockouts, and now he had the chance to win over America with his country tone.

For his cover of Lee Brice’s “I Drive Your Truck,” Baber and coach Blake Shelton were both inspired by respective losses in their lives. That more than came through in the contestant’s performance, with his facial expressions as moving as his voice. He received a standing ovation from not just Shelton, but Pharrell as well.

Pharrell, however, didn’t get a chance to comment due to time constraints. But Gwen Stefani told Baber, “You give so much every time. Every note, every stance — it’s so much emotion, and it’s a lot. I’m such a fan of that. You give, give, give yourself.”

Adam Levine actually confessed he’s still upset Baber didn’t pick him during the Blind Auditions. “I’ve always missed you because I really do believe what you do. It’s just really powerful,” he said, noting that the drama school teacher has passion “in spades.”

And Shelton said to his artist, “Barrett, dude, you amaze me. You never wanna compare somebody to somebody else, but sometime you have to. It’s happened tonight. The only other artist I’ve ever seen give that much to a performance is Garth Brooks.”

As Gossip Cop noted at the time, Shelton also compared Baber to Brooks during his Blind Audition. Check out the new performance video below!
