How will Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's relationship play out when the coaches are seated near each other on "The Voice"?
Fans got their first glimpse of the coaches-turned-new couple on Monday night, as the first night of the live shows for "The Voice" Season 9 kicked off.
While the duo didn't do anything to hint at their relationship on-air (aside from Blake taking the opportunity to stump for Team Gwen at just about every turn), when the cameras stopped rolling, the new couple did enjoy some moments together.
Access Hollywood producer Anthony Ramos was inside the taping, and here's what he saw… that the cameras didn't catch!
- Blake and Gwen were very cute and very flirty! Blake seems over the moon...super attentive to Gwen all night.
- Before the show even began, each coach walks out on stage and motions to fans, waves, etc. It went Adam, Pharrell, Blake and Gwen last. When Gwen came out (Blake and boys already onstage) she walked right up to Blake first and gave him a big, long hug. The crowd went crazy. Adam smiling.
- No official mention of the relationship by Carson or any coach, but let's just say Blake was especially stumping for Team Gwen tonight... said many times that Team Gwen is kicking the crap out of Team Adam. Gwen giggled and smiled.
- When the show went to commercial, Blake walked over to Gwen's chair almost every time.
- During first commercial break: Blake gets up immediately and walks over to Gwen's chair. They were giggling with each other. She was getting touched up but still talking across to him (by the way, Gwen looked killer!).
- In throwing to commercial breaks, Gwen and Blake posed for cute pictures together. Some by Gwen's glam team, and others by NBC photographer.
- Toward the end during commercial break, Blake, Gwen and Adam were chatting and Gwen started dancing -- Blake loved it and walked over close to her. Gwen was playfully touching Blake's arm and shoulder.
- At the very end of the show after it's wrapped, Gwen and Blake gave each other a fist bump and then grasped each other's hands. They walked out together. She was grasping his arm and he helps her out of his chair. Both big smiles on their faces.
"The Voice" live shows continue tonight on NBC.
