Azealia Banks is under investigation for battery after allegedly assaulting a security guard. See video below.
The incident reportedly took place at Break Room 86, a Los Angeles nightclub, last month. After allegedly becoming “unruly,” security is said to have asked Banks to leave the venue. While making her exit, however, the rapper allegedly tried to pull a fire alarm.
When a security guard stepped in to stop her, Banks allegedly turned violent. And the apparent beatdown was caught on camera. Security footage obtained by TMZ shows the performer getting pulled away from the fire alarm before she and others in her group begin tussling with the guard.
Multiple people are involved, and with no sound, it’s impossible to tell for sure who is truly at fault. But the incident sparked a criminal battery report against Banks. She has not mentioned the situation on social media.
The investigation comes less than two months after Banks was filmed getting into a fight on a plane. As Gossip Cop reported, the controversial music star punched and spit in the face of a fellow passenger, and even called a male flight attendant a homophobic slur. Though she was temporarily detained by police, Banks didn’t face any charges after the victims declined to file complaints.
