Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess and Tamar Braxton and Val Chmerkovskiy danced the rumba together on Monday’s “Dancing With the Stars” to “Hey Jude” from the Cirque Du Solei Beatles show “Love.” Their performance on “Showstoppers” night impressed the judges and audience alike. See the video below.
Tamar Braxton came straight from the hospital with pneumonia to dance, and everyone was tremendously impressed. Carrie Ann Inaba get it was a “fantastic performance,” adding she was “astounded by [Braxton’s] courage” and how she “didn’t let Nick down.” Julianne Hough felt Carter “stepped up as a leading man.” As for Braxton dancing when sick, Hough asked, “what are you thinking?!” And Bruno Tonioli called the “showstoppers’ dance “magical, a psychedelic dream celebration of what the show’s about… love.”
After getting strong reviews from the judges, Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess and Tamar Braxton and Val Chmerkovskiy got a total score of 27 out of 30 points, a nine from each of the three judges.
