Julia Roberts has not, and will not, ever watch an episode of “American Horror Story,” the TV series co-starring her niece Emma Roberts. Find out why below!
In addition to the movie star’s niece appearing on the show, Roberts is also very good friends with the show’s creator, Ryan Murphy, who directed her in the movies Eat Pray Love and The Normal Heart.
However, when E! asked Roberts why she’s never appeared on the FX show despite her connections to the cast and crew of the series, she answered, “Because I can’t even get through the commercials. I am the most fitful scaredy cat.”
Roberts then joked that when the original season of the show was first advertised, she actually got mad at Murphy. “I said to him, ‘OK, I curse you. I stop at a traffic light and I have to look at that thing on billboards,” she revealed. “It gives me the willies.”Roberts then added, “I try to support my Emma, but I don’t like it.”
