Tamar Braxton and Val Chmerkovskiy did a paso doble to Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” on Monday’s “Dancing With The Stars.” Watch the video below.
On Monday’s “Icons” night, Braxton chose her sister Toni Braxton as her “icon.” Tamar explained that Toni taught her you can “really do whatever you put your mind to.” Tamar also said during the introductory segment that she thought she herself was a “great dancer.”
So how did she do with her paso doble to Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way”? Julianne Hough felt the dance was a great way for Tamar to “showcase” her dancing. Bruno Tonioli exclaimed that they executed the “paso double down to the core… All the elements were there.” And Carrie Ann Inaba said, “You’re not the only one who thinks your a great dancer.”
Braxton and Chmerkovskiy’s paso doble to “Born This Way” on “Icons” night received a 28 out of 30 from the judges, with Hough and Inaba giving her nines and Tonioli giving her a perfect 10.
