Tom Cruise had a serious fright on Friday night, but it had nothing to do with Halloween. A trailer on the set of the Jack Reacher sequel exploded. See video below.

Cruise has been in the New Orleans area filming Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, the follow-up to the 2012 original. A number of trailers have been set up in an RV park for the production. And one unexpectedly burst into flames, lighting up the night’s sky.

According to TMZ, it was a wardrobe trailer that caught on fire, though it’s unclear what sparked the blaze. Cruise was reportedly in a nearby trailer at the time of the incident. Thankfully, no one was injured.

In a crazy coincidence, the trailer fire happened less than a week after Whoopi Goldberg faced a similar situation. As Gossip Cop reported, “The View” host was in the middle of a stand-up show in Canada when her tour bus went up in flames. Though the venue had to be evacuated, she and the attendees were not in harm’s way.

Unfortunately for Cruise, he hasn’t had the greatest run on movie sets lately. As Gossip Cop reported, two Mena crew members died in a plane crash in September, just after the actor himself had a safe flight. Video of the trailer on fire can be seen below.
