Will Arnett is returning to CBS.

The network has put a workplace comedy from the former star of The Millers into development, The Hollywood Reporter has learned.

CBS vet Tom Hertz (Rules of Engagement, King of Queens) will pen the script. The untitled multicam project is described as a workplace ensemble set at a public high school.

Hertz and Arnett will exec produce with Peter Principato, Gerry Dee and Mike Volpe. Jed Weitzman of Arnett's Electric Avenue is also on board as a producer. CBS Television Studios will produce the project.

This brings Arnett back to the CBS fold after The Millers, which was canceled early in its second season despite getting a full-season pickup from the network. Arnett will next topline his own Netflix comedy, Flaked, which comes out sometime next year. He also voices the titular character on the streaming company's animated hit BoJack Horseman. He is repped by WME, Principato Young and Robert Offer.

Hertz, whose other credits include Spin City and Less Than Perfect, is repped by WME.
