Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s real-life marriage is going strong, despite what tabloid reports would have you believe. The same can’t be said, however, for the union between their characters in the upcoming movie By the Sea. Watch the brand-new trailer below.
Jolie wrote, directed, and co-stars with her husband in the new movie, which revolves around an unhappily-married couple. Their marriage reaches its breaking point when the two get tangled up with a newlywed couple while vacationing in France. As Gossip Cop reported, the first preview for the film was released back in August.
As we also noted, Jolie revealed in her recent Vogue cover story that when Pitt first read the script for By the Sea, he told her it was both “crazy” and “the worst idea” to make a film about a couple’s crumbling marriage. Obviously, the actor eventually warmed to the concept. Jolie also explained, “If the characters’ were even remotely close to our problems, we couldn’t have made the film.”
Pitt and Jolie don’t utter a word of dialogue in this intense and dramatic new trailer, but they do engage in a whole lot of fighting. By the Sea hits theaters on November 13. Watch the newest preview for the film below, and tell Gossip Cop what you think.
