Josh Duhamel had the honor of being the celebrity guest to be scared on Ellen DeGeneres’ 2015 Halloween show. Check out the video below!
As Gossip Cop has reported, a recurring bit on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” features stars getting surprised mid-interview. Sometimes a costumed character pops out of a side table. Other times someone runs out from backstage.
The reactions are usually priceless, and even better when they’re replayed in slow-motion. While DeGeneres does these stunts all year around, she of course couldn’t pass up the opportunity to get Duhamel during Friday’s special Halloween episode. And while the actor may have figured it was coming, given the holiday, he was still hilariously frightened nonetheless.
Duhamel first came out on stage dressed as Jim Carrey’s Dumb & Dumber character, Lloyd Christmas, as DeGeneres sat in her Karla Kardashian costume. “This is something I’ve dreamt about since 1994,” the star said of his impersonation. He went on to discuss the love he and wife Fergie share for costume parties.
Duhamel later admitted he felt “ridiculous” talking about his rather serious new movie, Lost In The Sun, “dressed like this.” But he felt even more ridiculous a few moments later when a man dressed as Fergie jumped out of the table. “Ahhhh,” exclaimed the actor. “You son of a [bitch]!”
