Taylor Swift has a new fanbase now that her songs have been turned into lullabies for the newest edition of Rockabye Baby!, an album series geared towards infants. Listen to Swift’s lullabies below!
Twelve of Swift’s songs, old and new, are featured on the album, including “Blank Space,” “Bad Blood,” “Mine,” “Our Song,” “You Belong With Me,” “Love Story,” “Shake it Off,” “22,” “I Knew You Were Trouble,” “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together,” “Style” and “Mean.” Some of these songs have been covered before, such as when Ryan Adams performed his own version of Swift’s “Bad Blood” album, however the superstar’s music has never been heard quite like this.
The Rockabye Baby! series features instrumental versions of hit tracks by rock bands, rappers and pop stars. It debuted in 2006, with Coldplay, Radiohead and Metallica as its first three artists to get the lullaby treatment. There are currently more than 50 albums on the market, and among the major artists whose music has been turned into lullabies are Kanye West, Eminem, Jay Z, Maroon 5, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Bob Marley and Led Zeppelin.
