Caitlyn Jenner and Khloe Kardashian’s relationship is NOT at the “bitter end,” despite a sensational new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk the claims. We’re told there’s no truth to the story.
The allegations come courtesy of RadarOnline, which has a long history of false articles about both Jenner and Kardashian. In its latest offering, which was published one day after the Olympian turned 66, the site writes, Kardashian “refused” to go to her birthday dinner on Wednesday night, a sign that their “rocky relationship has come to a bitter end.”
“Khloe and Caitlyn are barely on speaking terms and really want nothing to do with each other,” claims the outlet’s so-called “source.” The alleged rift is blamed in part on the family’s issues with Jenner’s Vanity Fair cover, and a new fight over Lamar Odom’s hospitalization. The supposed “source” says, “When Lamar overdosed, Caitlyn let it be known that she would not be visiting him at the hospital. She has no desire to help him at all, [and] she told Khloe to let it go and Khloe blew the [expletive] up!”
The tipster goes as far as alleging to RadarOnline that Kardashian even told Jenner “that she is no longer her father and that Kris leaving her was the best thing that ever happened to their family.” That sounds awful. And awfully made up.
This dramatic tale conveniently fails to mention a few key details. First off, Kardashian did not attend any birthday meal for Jenner because she is currently juggling both business obligations and her commitment to be with Odom in the hospital. Second, Kardashian posted a heartfelt tribute to Jenner on her website on Wednesday in honor of Jenner’s birthday.
In contrast, RadarOnline praises Kourtney Kardashian for supposedly attending the birthday celebration. But, unlike her sister, she didn’t post anything on social media about Jenner. Shouldn’t that mean, by the site’s logic, that there must be some kind of feud between Jenner and Kourtney, too?
Clearly, there’s more holes in the webloid’s story than can sink a boat. In any case, Gossip Cop still checked in with a rock-solid insider close to the family, and we’re exclusively told RadarOnline is once again making up something out of nothing.
