Liam Hemsworth is NOT pursuing Megan Fox, despite a false claim from one of this week’s new tabloids. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this story. We’re told it’s “100 percent false.”
“Liam Goes Fox Hunting,” reads the headline of the ridiculous Star article, which alleges Hemsworth has been trying to land a date with the actress ever since meeting her at a Hollywood gym. A so-called “insider” tells the tabloid, “Liam’s shy. He tried to play it cool, but he couldn’t stop blushing the first time Megan chatted him up.” The supposed “source” further adds, “They made plans to get together soon, maybe even break a sweat with a class.”
Of course, the tabloid goes on to drag Fox’s estranged husband into its phony story. The magazine’s questionable source claims that Brian Austin Green also works out at this unnamed Hollywood gym, and absurdly notes, “It could get ugly if Liam and Brian met with boxing gloves on.”
Gossip Cop is not surprised, however, that Star made up this story. We previously busted the tabloid for wrongly alleging Fox was going bald from dying her hair too often. And Gossip Cop also corrected the magazine for falsely spreading that Hemsworth was dating his Hunger Games co-star Jennifer Lawrence.
Regardless of those past inaccuracies, Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for Hemsworth, who laughed off the latest rumor about him pursuing Fox. Gossip Cop is assured the tabloid’s story is “100 percent false.”
