Jordan Smith and Viktor Kiraly had one of the best knockout face-offs on “The Voice” on Monday. Watch below!

As Gossip Cop has reported, the Team Adam Levine contestants have been two of the standouts throughout season 9. For the first knockout episode of season 9, both Smith and Kiraly had individual mentoring sessions with their coach and guest advisor Rihanna. The superstar told Smith she wanted him to give “more” with Adele’s “Set Fire To The Rain,” and said to Kiraly that he should do “If I Ain’t Got You” “straight” and “full.”

Levine decision to have two of his strongest singers go head to head might seem surprising, but it provided for seriously memorable performances that led to two standing ovations. Both contestants blew the panel away with high notes, with Blake Shelton exclaiming afterward, “Man!” He went on to say Kiraly was “as good as that could be,” but that Smith gave “one of the greatest vocals I ever gave in my life.”

Gwen Stefani even told Smith, “You are a freak of nature. I do not understand how that is possible.” Pharrell offered, “Both of these guys could continue to take it all the way to the end, in my opinion.” But how did Levine feel?

He had high praise for both of his artists, but confessed to Smith, “I don’t know if there’s any person that’s ever affected me like that.” It was no surprise then when Levine named him the winner. But Stefani stole Kiraly for the best ending possible! Check out the videos below, and tell us what YOU think!
