Nicole Kidman was NOT a “nightmare” while filming her upcoming movie Queen of the Desert, despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this rumor. We’re told it’s “garbage.”

According to Star, the actress was “impossible to deal with” on set. A so-called “spy” tells the tabloid, “She’d get frustrated while reading her lines, then refuse to read them again, like a child.” The supposed “source” adds that during filming Kidman “called the nanny hourly to check on her daughters. It really slowed down production and annoyed everyone.”

First off, isn’t it a little weird that Queen of the Desert finished production 19 months ago in March 2014, and suddenly this is a new story? Well, not only is this old, but it’s also 100 percent not true.

Of course, Gossip Cop isn’t surprised the tabloid’s story is malarkey. We’ve busted Star over and over during what seems like a campaign against Kidman. Last month, Gossip Cop correct the magazine for wrongly alleging the actress was a “golf grouch” at her country club in Nashville. And prior to that, Gossip Cop called out the tabloid for manufacturing a tale about Kidman not allowing staff members to make eye contact with her.

Much like those false claims, this latest story about Kidman being a “nightmare” on the set of her new movie nearly two years ago is also completely made up. Kidman’s rep exclusively tells Gossip Cop the tabloid’s story is “garbage.”
