The 2015 MTV EMAs are taking place in Milan, Italy on Sunday at the Mediolanum Forum, and Gossip Cop has all the winners. Hosted by Ed Sheeran and Ruby Rose, the Europe Music Awards honor the best in music from around the world. There were a number of regional categories, as well as the top international awards, including Best Song, Best Video, Best Male and Best Female performers. See the full list of winners below!
Taylor Swift leads all the other nominees with nine nominations, including Best Video, Best Song and Best Female. And Justin Bieber, who’s slated to perform at the MTV EMAs, is up for award in six categories, such as Best Pop, Best Male, Biggest Fans, and Best Look. Bieber and Swift will be vying, of course, against such performers fan favorites as Kendrick Lamar and One Direction in several categories.
As Gossip Cop noted earlier, Duran Duran is being awarded with the first Video Visionary Award for band’s innovative music videos when MTV first launched. In between the handing out award there will be a number of performances by such artists as Bieber, Ellie Goulding, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Pharrell, and the 2015 MTV EMAs host Ed Sheeran.
The 2015 MTV EMAs begin at 4 p.m. Eastern Time (9 p.m. CET). The awards show will air in the U.S. at 7 p.m. Gossip Cop will continue to update the winners’ list, as the awards are handed out. Tell Gossip who you’re rooting for to win big at the 2015 MTV EMAs.
