The MTV EMAs 2015 are taking place on Sunday from the Mediolanum Forum in Milan, Italy. Ed Sheeran and Ruby Rose are co-hosting the global awards show, and Gossip Cop will have a live stream below!
Slated to perform at the MTV EMAs are Justin Bieber, Pharrell, Tori Kelly, Jason Derulo, Andrea Bocelli, Ellie Goulding, James Bay, Jess Glynne, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Twenty One Pilots, and the show’s host, Ed Sheeran. And among the presenters at this year’s European Music Awards are Ashley Benson, Charli XCX, Mark Ronson, Hailey Baldwin, Shay Mitchell, Tinie Tempah, and Fifth Harmony.
Duran Duran is being awarded with the first-ever Video Visionary Award for their pioneering music videos in the early days of MTV. In addition to the numerous regional European awards that will be given out, among the most anticipated categories at this year’s MTV EMAs are Best Song, Best Male, Best Female and Best Video. Vying for several of those awards are Taylor Swift, Pharrell, Kendrick Lamar, and Ellie Goulding.
This is the third time Italy has hosted the MTV EMAs, and the second time they’re been broadcast from Milan. The MTV European Music Awards were last in Milan in 1998. Last year’s awards were on Glasgow, Scotland and were hosted by Nicki Minaj.
The 2015 MTV EMAs begin at 4 p.m. Eastern Time (9 p.m. CET). The awards show is set to air in the U.S. at 7 p.m. Gossip Cop will live stream as soon as the festivities start.
